Effect of sugar industrial wastes on sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) yield and roots quality

Two field experiments were conducted at a private farm in Malawi city, El-Minya, Egypt during two successive seasons of 2018 and 2019 respectively, to study the effect organic, inorganic its combination fertilizers on sweet potato yield quality sandy clay loam soil, Treatments (T1) 100% fertilizer (NPK mineral form), (T2) organic (sugarcane bagasse ash plus sugarcane vinasse), (T3) 75% + 25% inorganic, (T4) 50% (T5) inorganic. A random complete block design (RCBD) with three replications was used. The data showed high response full dose fertilization treatments (5 ton /feddan 80 L vinasse (feddan = 4200 m² 0.420 hectares = 1.037 acres)) all vegetative growth tuberous roots quality. Meanwhile, lowest values characters obtained (NPK).
